Professional Experience

As the second CEO in Sentinel’s history, Sam fosters an incredible culture that empowers our company to shine. His leadership amplifies Sentinel's presence as industry ambassadors who are dedicated to helping people achieving financial confidence and freedom.

Sam believes the business of benefits and financial services should be “easy” and delivered by genuine people. While he doesn't take himself too seriously, he deeply values his responsibility as a leader of the company. Sam often jokes that apart from managing finances, he's had a hand in all parts of Sentinel’s operations since joining the company in 2000.

Sam appreciates how everything at Sentinel, from fostering an authentic culture to simplifying the business of benefits for our clients, is driven by a shared mission to serve others.

Fun fact about Sam: He loves doing the “dad” thing and coaching his kids’ sports. He stays sane in the winter by going skiing with his family!

Personal Quote

“Sentinel’s innovative spirit is a perfect complement to my personality. I enjoy finding a different approach to solving the retirement and benefit needs of our clients. Providing a strategy around optimizing how people live today and save for tomorrow doesn’t have to be complicated and it doesn’t need to be boring. In fact, it can’t be.”
