We care about how we can help

Importance of Giving Back

At Sentinel, corporate citizenship is not only a privilege – it’s the right thing to do. We are committed to producing positive changes for our people, our clients and our communities every day.

Conscious Capitalism Boston Chapter logoThrough SentinelCares and our strategic partnerships, sponsorships, programs and volunteerism, we leverage our resources to help reduce disparities, provide equitable and inclusive opportunities, and strengthen the diverse needs of the communities we serve.

Awareness

We introduce our employees to local organizations and encourage them to share ideas, skills and resources to create a positive change.

Advocacy

We support programs and organizations who do good work, strengthen our communities and provide opportunities in line with our core values.

Philanthropy

Our associates support causes important to them through workplace giving, and Sentinel doubles their impact with direct grants and matching contributions.

Volunteerism

Everyone at Sentinel is invited to take two paid days of service each year, allowing our employees to give back in the way we believe matters most: time.

A Cause Close to Our Hearts

The John A. Carnevale ’81 Scholarship, established at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA, is close to Sentinel's heart. This scholarship honors Sentinel’s founding CEO and is presented annually to a rising freshman who attends eighth grade at St. John’s.

The recipient will be a student who models leadership, demonstrates care and concern for his classmates, and feels a genuine passion for all that St. John’s Prep has to offer.
